Tips for getting the most out of your portrait session

General Fashion tips:

> Wear clothes with colours that suit you and avoid busy patterns and bright colours, light colours tend to wash out your skin tone, so more solid and darker coloured (not too dark) clothing would be a much better option

> Group photo shoots: it is specially important to wear colours that blend with one another

Make up tips:

> Hide your blemishes and use powder to achieve a beautiful matte finish. This is to avoid shiny or oily looking skin when being photographed

> Lipstick should be one shade deeper than your natural lip colour

> Avoid using lip-gloss as it gives an illusion that you are not wearing lip colour at all

> Eye shadow should be a lighter shade, so your eyes are brought forward

> Apply more make up than normal, but neatly and precisely
